Qilosophy ® FAQs:
Does Acupuncture hurt?
Does plucking a hair hurt? Yes! And most of the time Acupuncture doesn’t hurt THAT much. Look, the needles used are tiny in comparison to the needles used to give a shot or draw blood. And those needles are hollow! Acupuncture needles are thin, solid and sterile and enter the dermis by being tapped lightly. Also, everyone has a different sensation tolerance. Some people may tell you that they don’t feel anything and that is true for them. Some are more aware of every sensation. Either way, your Qilosopher will work with you at your level of comfort.
What does Acupuncture work for?
It works for a lot of things but at Qilosophy ® we only use it for the most popular requests that consistently produce the best results. Check out our menu:
Are the needles sterile?
Yes. Absolutely. It’s the law.
Isn’t Acupuncture expensive?
Not at Qilosophy ®. We have low prices so that you can use it. Check out our prices:
How often should I get Acupuncture?
In order to use Acupuncture the way it is designed to be used, it’s a good idea to get it frequently. In China, people get acupuncture everyday for 5 or 10 days with a days’ break in between cycles until their problem is resolved. Acupuncture in China takes the place of medical prescriptions in the West.
What should I expect after a treatment?
Again, everyone is different. However, the Acupuncture services offered at qilosophy are the most tested and proven to be effective. The point selection and combinations are the culmination of 6 years of practice, study and training in America and China.
Most people will feel good with the first service. Others may take one or two more to get their body to recognize a change. Some may feel worse at first and many times this is part of healing. No matter what your reaction, our Qilosophy ® is to exercise the integrity to let you know if we don’t think acupuncture is a helpful option for you for this situation at this time. We absolutely will not waste your time and money. That is bad business, it’s not healing and it’s counter to why Qilosophy ® was developed in the first place.
